Artistic Directors
Topsail Dance Arts owner “Miss Maddie” graduated from Santa Clara University in 2018 with a Bachelors of Arts in Dance and Chemistry. At SCU, she was involved in the National Honor Society of Dance Arts and served as an undergraduate intern for the California Dance Education Association. Madison spent three years as coach and choreographer for a high school dance team and led them to multiple national titles. She also was on staff with the United Spirit Association (USA), teaching hundreds of middle and high school dancers at University campuses around the country. However, her favorite experiences have been teaching early dance education at various studios, where she gets to share her love for dance that she found at an early age with young children. Maddie’s true passion is teaching and using dance to instill confidence, resilience, and poise in her students.
“Miss Hannah” was born and raised in northeastern Ohio and started dancing at 6 years old. For the past 15 years, she has continued to dance competitively and has trained in many styles of dance, including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and acrobatics. Hannah began teaching and assisting at her home studio in 2022, where she worked with students of all ages. She especially loved working with her younger students. In the future, Hannah sees herself making a career out of teaching dance and choreographing.
